Connect Amazon

This step needs your own Pulsify account. The demo's accounts are already connected, so on the demo, skip to your first automation.

Accounts and connections

In Pulsify, an account is one Amazon business. It has 2 connections, and you can make either or both:

  • Selling connects Seller Central through Amazon's Selling Partner API. It brings your listings, stock, orders and marketplace events.
  • Advertising connects Amazon Ads. It brings your campaigns, ad groups, product ads, keywords and their performance.

The example in this guide needs both, on the same account. Pulsify matches a product ad to your listing by SKU, marketplace and account, so stock and ads only meet when both connections belong to one account.

Connect

  1. In the console, open Settings. Choose Add an account and give it a name, such as your brand.
  2. Next to Seller, choose Connect. Amazon asks you to sign in to Seller Central and approve Pulsify. Pulsify never sees your Amazon password.
  3. Back in Settings, next to Advertising, choose Connect, then sign in to Amazon Ads and approve Pulsify.

After you approve Seller Central, Pulsify opens Activity, so go back to Settings for step 3. After Amazon Ads, you land back in Settings. Seller Central opens for the region of the home marketplace you picked at sign-up.

Your plan includes 3 connected accounts. To connect a 4th, repeat these steps with a new account. The console shows the extra monthly cost and asks you to confirm before it sends you to Amazon.

What you can connect today

  • Seller Central: available.
  • Amazon Ads: available, for the advertising accounts your Amazon Ads sign-in can reach.
  • Vendor Central: available, in place of Seller Central. Choose Connect next to Vendor. A vendor account has no listings, so your agent gets vendor analytics and the seller tools stay hidden.

Accounts, marketplaces and profiles

A SKU is one listing per marketplace. The same product sold in the US and the UK is 2 listings, each with its own stock, price and ads. Amazon Ads works the same way: it gives you 1 advertising profile per country and currency.

With more than one account, tell your agent which one you mean. Pulsify's tools take an account and label every row with it. For a European seller account that spans several marketplaces, name the marketplace too.

Check that it's ready

Ask your agent:

Which Amazon accounts are connected, and is their data ready?

It calls connection_status. For each account, it reports both connections:

  • connected means Amazon has authorized Pulsify.
  • active means connected, with your Pulsify billing in good standing.

It also lists your advertising profiles by marketplace and currency. If one is missing, your Amazon Ads sign-in can't reach it.

Data arrives in stages. Pulsify starts reading your listings and orders as soon as selling connects, then refreshes listings every 6 hours. Campaigns and ad performance follow the advertising connection. Amazon keeps revising recent ad reports, so the latest days fill in over time.

Advertising answers carry a freshness block: when Pulsify last synced your campaigns, and the newest report date. Zeros everywhere with an old or empty freshness block mean the data hasn't synced yet, not that you spent nothing.
